Off the press

Hi everyone and welcome to our blog!

Well, the presses have stopped, the ink is dry and the first issue of Think Big hits Australian news stands this week.

It’s been an exciting time for team Think Big here in Sydney. Months of high adrenalin and planning have paid off and we are delighted with the end result and we are sure you will be too.

Bachelor No More

Until very recently, I woke up every morning in my “bachelor pad” overlooking a magnificent view of waves and beaches. I walked outside onto my balcony and there was Terrigal sprawled out in front of me, with the sun rising over the horizon onto a canvas with beautiful colours bouncing off the clouds and sea.

I had to wake up to this for four years; unfortunately for me, familiarity reared its ugly head. You know the scenario: someone like me has this magnificent view, I fell in love with it, and after a time I got so used to it I sort of forgot it was there and just took it for granted – until a lady that I invited over to my “bachelor pad” one night for dinner who hadn’t seen it before, found it very inspirational, she reminded me of the greatness that surrounded me. (I am now engaged to this wonderful lady).

Well I think that life is very much like that. We are all surrounded by greatness, we live in an awe inspiring country, we have wonderful people, beautiful food in abundance, multi cultures, fantastic climate, security, and a think big business environment. I think that we take this all for granted and get too familiar with it.

We should all look at life as a great big canvas, and throw all the paint on it we can – Think Big . Thinking small won’t achieve the greatness in us. Thinking Big is really critical, so when you are just starting to think big, think a lot bigger, and then double it, speak to people who are successful and pick their brains and keep learning, these are the things that can have a change in our lives.

If we are enthusiastic and passionate about the little things the big things will follow, people will embrace you and be excited about being around you - shoot for the moon. Even if you miss it, you will land amongst the stars.
